The Try-Out

Madis Abel and Aleksandra Galkina, EST, made it in six short years from a first try-out in Tallinn to the first GrandSlam Final in Taipei City, TPE. It was a perfect match from day, every which way the two young dancers looked at it.

Aleksandra and Madis had been dancing together for six years. Their partnership started - as many others do - with a try-out across borders.

On 1 July 2018, the promising (Russian) Estonian couple made the first GrandSlam Final in Taipei City. That's what the two had to say afterwards.
